We have delivered another AMFI filters to Skelleftekraft. This time, an AMFI 1500 with oil alarm to the waterpower plant in Rjebnes, west of Arjeplog in Sweden. The filter went last week and will be installed shortly

We have again visited Chongqing in China. This time we had the opportunity to visit our AMC, which is now in operation. It is used for emergency missions in case of accidents in the area and the planned remediation where it is necessary. The container has been extended with an 10 cc section where a major power generator has been placed, the equipment is installed on a trailer to be as mobile as possible. CEPB said they were very satisfied with the equipment and that they now have the opportunity to act in connection with both old and new releases.

Axon has once again been in China to establish new contacts. We participated in a packed program with the Swedish delegation on a Road Trip organized by CENTEC in Beijing and Stockholm. The Swedish delegation attended, among others, Ambassador Bo Jerlström, Mats Denninger from CENTEC and Bengt Toresson from the Foreign Ministry.
For our part the adventure started with a seminar with local authorities such as municipality and EPB in Shenyang City in the northwestern part of China. We spent only about one day in Shenyang and return to Beijing the day after. We participated in CIGIE Inauguration of China international Green Industry Expo 2010. CENTEC had once again arranged an Swedish pavilion which as usual was appreciated by the visitors. The exibition lasted three days and was very successful for us since there were a lot of people in our part of the Swedish Pavilion most of the time. While the exhibition lasted, it was a main forum “Green Economy Leads Future Development of the World” as we also took the opportunity to visit. The newly appointed Swedish Ambassador Lars Freden invited us to a very nice dinner on Wednesday evening in his residence at the Swedish Embassy in Beijing.
Friday we spent at the legendary Hotel Beijing and attended a Green Forum where it was discussed how the city of Beijing should be developed in the future. Beijing growing in a tremendous pace with accompanying environmental load as a result.The Swedish companies were allowed to present their companies for about 5 min. with subsequent hearing of the Chinese delegates.
I am very impressed with the effort that the Cabinet Office in Stockholm is doing to prepare the way for Swedish environmental technology company in China. The Swedish delegation continued their journey south while we stayed in Beijing to meet with various different companies and local authorities the remaining time.

Axon has been visited by a company operating in Asia, and primarily in Bangladesh. It was for the second time representatives of the companies met and a Memorandum of Understanding will be signed to permit the continued expansion of Axon's filter system in Asia. The need for simple and efficient purification of polluted water is very big in that part of Asia.

One of the Axon AMFI filter has participated in a comprehensive test of a very complex stormwater, with both PAH'er as heavy metals and hydrocarbons. The limits are unusually hard and the test shows that the contaminated water with a margin below the limits after passing our AMFI filters. The test will continue during November and then evaluated. We will, of course come back with the result later.

This is Yuan.Yuan who works in our office in Chongqing. She is 20 years old and graduated as Environmental Engineer at Chongqing Technology and Business University. Yuan stood out as a very talented student with several awards from the University. She speaks and writes excellent English besides native language , Mandarin. Yuan will primarily work to interact with our customers, authorities and coming distributors. In addition, she will assist with local market knowledge of our filter system and manage the daily operations of the office.

We have been in Chongqing and met with authorities, consultants and companies. Our purpose was to scout the terrain and market our products. We met with both customers and companies interested in becoming distributors for us in China. This visit was very successful and we have some things to take hold of now. The interest is still very big for us and our products, especially since we have opened offices in Chongqing. We are very optimistic about our investment in the country.

We have now been upgraded to AAA credit rating. The last obstacle that the company must be at least 10 years of the degree was passed in March this year. We have a number of years done good results and it is naturally gratifying, and with a promising future means that we are very positive about the future. Especially with the recently launched venture in China that we expect much of.

One of our partners have tested our filters for purifying water which contains oil and four different parts of PAH (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons). The experiment proved to be beyond all expectations. The contents of PAH was between 160-600 mg/kg of water. After filtration, it was 0 mg/kg, better than that, it can not get. We will of course need more testing on other PAH combinations. But in this case, particle-bound PAH in this very sensitive ground environment obviously worked surprisingly well.

Axon has opened office in Chongqing, a historic event in its ten year history is thus initiated. The office is located in the center of town, next to the exhibition halls. We have thus established ourselves in earnest in China and especially the city of Chongqing. We have also hired the first employee MS Yuan Yuan which are to be presented later. . The ambition is that staff should be increased gradually to service both as a buisness staff. Naturally, the website will be extended with a Chinese version as soon as time permits

Mr. Xie Jing Yu has visited us in Sweden for a week. among other things we show for him to weld plastic. He got a deeper insight into how our filtering system works, with visits to various locations where the filter systems in operation. We will visit Tillväxtverket in Stockholm and account for our joint projects in Chongqing. We will also deeper inform Mr Xie about our filter system, which has not been possible before. We have been in Chongqing and completed our project there. EPB in Chongqing, has as we previously reported here in the news, in three months tested a Axon AMC 20th The test went very well and CEPB have decided to do business. The AMC 20 has been installd on the steel plant in Chongqing and worked beyond all expectations. We note that except oil filter has the filtersystem eliminated virtually all iron oxide and also lowered the pH value of water to a good level. Solid Waste Management Service, which is a state agency under CEPB has during the test period managed Axon AMC 20th Their staff are now trained in the care and maintenance and will in the future make it work for both planned and unplanned tasks. We visit Yantay city today and a company that is part of a project that will purify water from oil and heavy metals in the region. There are plenty of small and medium-sized industries that have problems with these pollutants. The authorities have tightened emission requirements and companies must present solutions to their problems soon. The most important activity in the neighbourhood is actually apple orchard why the authorities are very serious view of pollution of the soil. Yantay is a rich region, and it largely depends on the cultivation of apples that bring in large revenues. The sight of hundreds of thousands of apple trees that were in the process of flower was fantastic.

Axon Environmental Engineering participates in the 9th China Chongqing Hi-tech Fair period 8/4- 11 / 4. We are a part of the Swedish pavilion as one of eight Swedish companies. The interest in Axon and our products are on top and we have a lot of people on the stand all day. We tempt our visitors with our demo filter where we easily can show the function of our filter systems. We saw our participation in the exhibition as very positive. We get a lot of inquiries from customers as well as from Chinese companies that want to sell our filter systems in different parts of China . Yan Sun also got a golden chance to thoroughly familiarize themselves with our products. She will be employed in our Chinese company in the short and got a flying start here at the fair. There was no shortage of prominent guests on the stand either which does not surprise us when we have always been very friendly and well received here in Chongqing .

Axon Environmental Engineering has received an invitation to CEPB in Chongqing to celebrate the two Events. Axon Environmental Technology AB 10th birthday in March and Per Axelson celebrates He’s 50th birthday. CEPB has been invited to a celebration 21 / 3. We arrive in Chongqing already 17 / 3 and CEPB well as Solid Waste Management Center has various different arrangements for us in the city during the visit.

Latest news from Chongqing
We are finished with the installation of Axon AMC 20 at the steel plant in Chongqing. The installation went as planned and we have handed over the plant to the Solid Waste Management Center for further operation.
Our mission is to purify this water, which is a process from the steel mill. The water includes Ironoxide and oil. The current situation keeps water at a temperature of approx. 42-43 degrees, which is likely to grow when the outside temperature rises to normal summer temperatures of 40 to 45 deg.C The images show the top while the water we are going to clean the container operation, the sampling of water, the stratification that occurs in our degreasers, our stock of absorbent that we have in Chongqing and finally the result of purification.
As everyone understands there is no easy task we have been awarded in Chongqing. Filtering, however, went as expected and was verified by testing showed pure brilliant value and incidentally can see with the naked eye in the picture with water bottles.

We have visit Chongqing and installed the AMC 20. The shipment took about. 60 days to the other side of the world. We drove over with five men to be able to install the equipment in a timely manner. Parts of the staff will go back in January to complete the installation and training of local personnel on site. The trip was an adventure course in the case of a place in south western China and also the world's largest city with approx. 34 million inhabitants, time was devoted to a tour of the city. We have once again been on a visit to China. This time, to inspect the properties where Axon AMC 20 should be installed. We met with representatives of Chongqing Environment Protection Burea and Solid Waste Management Service, both of which are environmental authorities. CEPB is China's and world's largest environmental agency in approx. 83 000 staff we met also the clean-up company that will use themselves of our AMC in the field. Production of container is in full swing and we calculate the delivery month of October from Sweden.
